Water alkalinity and scaling problems stem from high levels of calcium and magnesium ions. The VLLRO water softening technology removes these ions, eliminating alkalinity and scale, and producing softened water.

Water alkalinity and scale formation are caused by excessive levels of calcium and magnesium ions in water. The VLLRO water softener removes these hardness ions from the water, thereby eliminating water alkalinity and scale, achieving the purpose of water softening.

Integrated with Runxin's fully automated water softening control valve system, all processes-operation, backflushing, salt absorption, forward rinsing, and water replenishment-are executed accurately and reliably, making it a self-managed solution that doesn't require dedicated personnel.

The primary contributors to water hardness are the cations calcium (Ca2+) and magnesium (Mg2+). As raw water with hardness flows through the resin bed of an exchanger, the resin captures these ions while releasing sodium ions in exchange. This results in softened water exiting the exchanger, devoid of hardness ions. However, as the resin accumulates a significant amount of calcium and magnesium ions, the hardness of the outlet water escalates. In response, the water softener automatically initiates the regeneration cycle for the saturated resin, utilizing a high-concentration sodium chloride solution (saltwater) to pass through the resin, thereby rejuvenating its softening ability.
